Google Chrome integrated with Gemini could arrive soon

Google will add support for Gemini in Chrome, more specifically in the browser’s address bar (or “Omnibox“, as the company officially calls it). The new feature arrives in the desktop version first and is now available in trial versions. Find out what changes below.

How to use Gemini on Chrome?

The features mentioned so far are not yet available to all Chrome users on desktop. To try it out, you need to install the latest Chrome trial version, Canary.

Additionally, you need to use two commands to enable Gemini integration, namely:

This is expected to be one of the big new features of the stable version of Chrome 125. It is not yet known when Gemini integration will be available in the mobile version of the browser, which runs on Android and iOS.
