Christmas and desserts go hand in hand. If you love cooking and want to surprise your loved ones with a delicious dessert, here is a great option, in which you can adjust the amount of sugar and coffee according to your tastes. In some cultures, recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation are usually prepared, but if you want to add a special touch to your celebrations, consider the following ingredients:

  • Instant coffee
  • 1 liter of milk of your choice
  • Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Cornstarch

Preparation:

  • In a large bowl you must pour the milk of your choice, but not full, because you must reserve a cup, which you will use later.
  • Add two cinnamon sticks and a little sugar to your liking. Stir the mixture well.
  • Then add three tablespoons of instant coffee and mix thoroughly over low heat.
  • In the glass of milk that you have reserved you must add eight tablespoons of cornstarch until it is well diluted.
  • Next you will add the cornstarch to your previous mixture, continuing to beat until the consistency becomes thicker.
  • In the mold of your choice you must pour the mixture, you can add a little oil so that nothing sticks.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or ideally overnight so the flavors can blend and the dessert can set.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with a little cinnamon or cocoa powder.
