VIDEO: 10-year-old girl walks into pharmacy and steals money from cashier

Other objects and mobile phones were also confiscated.

Pharmacy security cameras captured the moment a girl of around 10 years old came in to steal accompanied by an adult and took several items including cash from the cash register.

The theft happened in Ecuador on May 9 and went viral on social media and sparked outrage for using a minor to commit criminal acts.

The images show two adult women accompanied by two girls entering the pharmacy. One of the women goes to the cash register, asks for some headache medicine, pays for it, and walks to a display case, apparently looking at some product with the other woman and the miners.

At this time, the group of women ask the cashier to come to the counter to ask for details, as a distraction. There, one of the girls begins to commit the theft.

The miner was dressed in pink and wore animal ears and took advantage of the clerk’s distraction to walk through the counter door and straight to the cash register.

Once there, the minor takes all the money she can and also keeps a cell phone. He even takes the time to check other drawers where he doesn’t seem to find anything of value.

In the end, the women quickly leave the collection area and walk away. According to local media, this group of women was already detected last year, after thefts were reported, under this modality, in several places in the country.
