In 2016, the JAR presented his project “Visions of the Future”, an initiative that sought to inspire and captivate audiences by sharing images and concept art about the possible futures of space exploration. The goal at the time was to show what traveling to different destinations in the universe could look like and to generate excitement for science and space exploration.

For this, the JAR collaborated with a team of artists and designers to create a series of posters and videos imaginatively depicting potential space missions and extraterrestrial destinations.

These photos show places like Mars, the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, exoplanets and other cosmic objects. Last Monday, the topic of conversation returned to the trends thanks to the fact that one of these videos was posted by the agency on its social networks.

Art and cooperation with people

At the time, posters and videos of “Visions of the Future” they were widely shared online and became a popular way to generate interest in space exploration.

Importantly, each image was accompanied by a description that explained the scientific and technical details related to the mission or destination depicted.

It should be mentioned that these artistic depictions are not exact predictions of the future, but rather a way to stimulate the imagination and showcase the potential of space exploration.

The most important thing to note is that NASA has used this type of artistic approach in the past to communicate scientific concepts and spark public interest in space exploration. You can view the posters by clicking here.

Is it possible to travel in the solar system?

According to JAR, it is possible to travel the solar system using suitable space technology. This space agency and others have sent probes and manned missions to various destinations in our solar system, such as the Moon, Mars, Venus and other planets, as well as asteroids and comets.

There JAR developed the program Artemis, with the goal of returning astronauts to the Moon to establish a lasting presence there. Additionally, the agency plans to send human missions to Mars in the future, although this will require significant technological advancements and careful planning.

For unmanned space probes, the JAR sent a series of successful missions throughout the solar system, including missions to Jupiter (like the Juno probe), for Saturn (like the Cassini probe) already March (like the Spirit, Opportunity, Curiosity and Perseverance rovers). These missions provided valuable scientific information and expanded our knowledge of the planets and other celestial bodies in our solar system.

It is important to note that space travel over long distances in the solar system presents significant technical and logistical challenges. Travel duration, radiation protection for astronauts, and availability of resources during the mission are just some of the aspects that need to be addressed.
