As part of the Seventh Regular Session of the Economic and Social Council of Michoacánthe Secretary of the Interior, Adam Augusto Lopez Hernandezstressed the importance of constantly working together to strengthen governance in the state.

During his speech at the event led by Governor Alfredo Ramirez Bedollathe federal official stressed the need to maintain an ongoing dialogue with the governors of the Federal entities as an integral part of his position.

“I come as Home Secretary, that’s part of my job, we have to maintain a permanent dialogue with the state governments, with the heads of state governments, with the three powers,” said López Hernández.

Likewise, the Secretary of the Interior recognized the commitment of Governor Ramírez Bedolla to restore the stability and governability in Michoacán. He stressed the importance of restoring stability in areas such as labor relations with unions, public safety, trust and good relations between the federal government and municipalities, as well as with indigenous communities.

López Hernández also highlighted Governor Ramírez Bedolla’s efforts to resolve the debts and pending with Michoacan teachers, through the federalization of the payroll, as a measure to ensure the stability and governability of the entity.

In this sense, the Secretary of the Interior called on all sectors to work closely with the President of the State and continue to build the governance In Michoacan.

Faced with insinuations from some journalists about a possible political promotion of Morena’s candidacy for the presidency, the senior official replied: “I am not campaigning, I am coming to an official event. Governance is built every day”, reaffirming the importance of collaborative work to strengthen the stability and development of the State.

This meeting strengthens the the will and commitment of the federal government and the Government of Michoacán to work together for the benefit of the citizens and in pursuit of the common good
