After 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, there was a heavy mobilization of police and emergency services in the streets of northern Mexico City. According to initial reports a couple driving on Congreso de la Unión Avenue was shot dead in the area of ​​the Aragón Inguarán district in the town hall of Gustavo A. Madero.

Hours later, it emerged that deceased individuals had been identified as Odely “N” and Adrián “N”, believed to be the owners of a business known as Tepito’s Licuachelas “dolls”. Note that at least 6 casings were found around the perimeter of the vehicle, the area was therefore cordoned off by security elements.

According to reports from witnesses in the area, two men on motorbikes shot the man and the woman, who crashed their truck into the pavement of the elevated viaduct of the Talismán metro.

After committing the double homicide, the suspected criminals fled on motorbikes to the State of Mexico. According to the first line of police investigation, everything suggests that the double homicide stems from the fact that they refused to pay extortion fees for the floor rights of their liquor business.

On the other hand, it is very important to note that Odely “N” has already been identified as the niece of the founder of the criminal group La Unión Tepito, Pancho Cayagua.

After the pair of homicides, elements of the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office (FGJ-CDMX) arrived at the scene and opened investigations to find those responsible for the crime.

It should be noted that a few minutes later, relatives of the victims arrived in the area, including the mother of the murdered woman, who fell on the hood of the truck and raised her hands to her head due to the impact. of the strong scene.
