The 29-year-old Peruvian Tiktoker was murdered on January 16 at 2 a.m. by her husband Alexandre Pinedo Barron 35 years, who stabbed him at least 30 times with a kitchen knife and in front of his grandson. The facts occurred in one of the rooms of the apartment where they lived, located in the neighborhood of San Borja, in the province of Lima, Peru, according to various local media.

Elements of the Peruvian National Police arrived at the site where the femicide was perpetrated after the neighbors called because cries for help had been heard, they found Marilyn’s lifeless body there. Before the terrible murder, the young woman had already filed a complaint in 2012 for physical assault, since according to the relatives of the victim, Alexandre was jealous and dominating. The child was entrusted to the care of the maternal grandmother. The Public Ministry ordered nine months of preventive detention against Alexander Pinedo.

Angy Diaz (January 11)

Another of the most tragic cases occurred on January 11, when a 21-year-old Nicaraguan girl named Angy Díaz was beheaded by her husband Jared James Dicus, whom he married on October 13, 2022 and lived in a county in Texas, United States. The other case occurred in a house in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, where a 40-year-old man allegedly shot and killed his partner Eva María Haza, a 46-year-old woman. The national police detained the subject, as well as a friend of the alleged murderer, since he witnessed the events.

On January 5, authorities in the municipality of Galapa, in the department of Atlántico, Colombia, found the lifeless body of a woman named Karen Lisbeth Guerra Hernandez, missing since January 1.
