Little A 7-year-old boy died after being attacked by a dog pack in idaho, United States. The death occurred around 5:30 p.m. last Saturday, in an area known as Fort Hall Reserve, authorities said.

The minor’s mother was identified as Emily Islas, while her son (fatality) answered Kellan’s name. At the time of the attack both were staying in a mobile home on Sandy Road. According to authorities, the events occurred after the boy wandered around the reserve last Saturday and was intercepted by a neighbor’s four dogs who was also staying in the area.

When the minor’s mother realized what was happening, she quickly approached to try to help her son. Despite his efforts, she was unable to separate the dogs from the child and was also injured seriously while doing everything possible to stop the aggression. People who witnessed the attack notified the authorities and requested the presence of emergency teams to help the victims.

Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers separated the victims from the dogs and the mother and son were rushed to Portneuf Medical Center. However, upon arriving at the hospital, Kellan He was pronounced dead due to the severity of his injuries.. For her part, Emily was given priority treatment and had to undergo emergency surgery; She remains hospitalized to recover from her injuries.

Relatives of the victims launched a fundraising campaign, in which they explained that Islas had suffered nerve damage and a ruptured artery in his right arm, as well as additional injuries to his head, back and arm left. “I know Emily, and I know that did everything in his power to protect Kellan of this attack. She’s an incredible wife and mother and she sacrificed herself to try to save her baby boy,” reads the campaign posted via GoFundMe.

As for the dogs that attacked the woman and her child, local authorities revealed that the four animals had to be euthanized. While the owners of the canines, identified as Benjamin and Juliana Wolfchild, have been summoned to court for 15 offenses relating to mistreatment, attack by wild animals, vaccination against rabies and excess of canine or feline pets.
