Take a seat before watching Prince William and Shakira’s relationship
Over the past few months, we have repeatedly heard the names of Shakira and Prince William. That of the Colombian singer for her break with the Spanish footballer Gerard Piqué and that of the English, for all the controversy that arose after the death of Elizabeth II.
But other than that, you’d think nothing can unite the two controversial public figures. The profiles of their sentimental relationships are totally different, the circles they come from are not alike at all and their tastes are not something that could bring them together at any time.
Although there is something that unites them and it’s caring and caring about the environment. Shakira and Guillermo are even part of a committee, a whole committee that works for the preservation of the environment and also promotes work so that those who want to help can do so.
Earthshot Awards
Shakira Mebarak and Prince William Collaborate With Other Entertainment Personalities to fund and promote the “Earthshot Awards, let’s fix our planet”. It is an economic remuneration that is given to people or projects that present the best alternatives to work with respect for the environment and counter the damage generated by human beings.
In this project, the prizes were created by Guillermo, and Shakira is a member of the jury. They were established in 2021 and, over a decade, they award five prizes of £1 million (about 23 million pesos) to those who come up with innovative solutions to today’s five most important challenges:
1.- Protect and restore nature
2.- Combat climate change
3.- Improve air quality
4.- Revive the oceans
5.- Create a world without waste
