On one occasion, the presenter Enrique Santos makes a mysterious invitation to the Cuban dancer Michael Valdes. He told her that he was going to give salsa lessons “to important people”, but he did not give her more details. Despite everything, he accepted and made an appointment at a house in the luxury district in the United States, he revealed Anays González, the artist’s wife in an interview with El Heraldo de México.

She witnessed the scene. The house turned out to be Mark Anthony and the classes, initially, were going to be for their children. However, when they went to the terrace, they were surprised by the former Real Madrid multi-champion footballer, David Beckhamwith his wife Victoria and two of their children.

With amusement, he recalled that one of the drawbacks was that the Central American choreographer also did not speak English and, on the other hand, the British businessman did not speak Spanish. Despite this, the course was very pleasant and, with the language of dance, they knew how to get along to leave a good taste in the mouth.

“He was the model student,” González said, referring to Beckham’s behavior during the private session for the successful family. “The whole time he was dancing. He loved the class,” he said.

Even though Mark Anthony has never danced, the dancer will remember a sentence that the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter said to the former player: “I could never dance like this black man, but this black man could never sing like me. “

And it is that Valdes met the singer when he was part of performances as a dancer in his shows. In addition to the fact that he has been on stage with artists such as Laura Pausini, Gilberto Santa Rosa and Pitbull.

In turn, he has his own dance academy called Dance with Micho, with which he guided the students in such a way that they are invited to video clips of different celebrities. Currently, in its dance academy there are three large halls where different levels and ages are included, from children from 5 years old to adults.
