Galaxy Z Fold 5: Samsung Unpacked will take place in Seoul, South Korea
The next edition of Unpacked for the second half, an event where Samsung showcases the foldable phones of the year, will be in South Korea. The information comes directly from Lee Young-hee, president of the DX division’s global marketing center at the inside the company.

For many years, Samsung has been promoting its upcoming phones at its own events, away from major trade shows. With the name of Unpacked, the Korean brand uses the beginning of the year to announce the novelties of the Galaxy S and the second half receives the new foldables from the house – first it was the Galaxy Note.
The last ones were made in the United States, but Lee Young-hee has commented that he will bring the next Unpacked to South Korea, in the capital Seoul. In an interview after the Ho-Am awards ceremony conducted by the local newspaper Yonhap Newsthe executive commented that she preferred the city of her own country, because “Korea is significant, it is important”.
Samsung wants to strengthen the country for the 2030 Universal Exposition
Bringing the largest event of Samsung’s mobile division to Korea could have another meaning. The company does not deny that it is working hard to promote the country itself in its bid to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan. The brand has recently become involved with the government, together with South Africa, to support the fair to be held there.
