MobizapSP Announces Inaugural Tender for Free Use of App; see date and route

The city of São Paulo, through the Municipal Department of Mobility and Traffic (SMT), announced this Wednesday (22) that it will hold a symbolic run to inaugurate mobizapSP, a new public transport application. The premiere will be on March 23 (tomorrow), at 12:00. After the trip, the platform will be released for use by the population.

Launched on March 9, the application already has 23,224 users and 25,866 registered drivers. mobizapSP is available for departures from the city of São Paulo and with destinations based on the customer’s journey, being possible to go to other cities.

There is no dynamic fee during peak hours and the platform will accept payments by cash, credit, debit and in-app credit cards.

How to use MobizapSP?

For users who wish to register, it is necessary to download the “mobizapSP Passageiro” application, already available for Android or iOS systems. After this step, you need to enter personal information such as your name, phone number and email.

There is also the “mobizapSP Motorista” version, exclusive for partners who want to work with the application. You also need to do a little registration and validation of information.

Drivers who opt for the platform will be paid more, as the management fee is 10.95% (fixed), which is lower than other apps that already exist on the market.

mobizapSP is an urban mobility application that offers benefits to the population. With the aim of ensuring greater safety and fair prices for drivers and passengers, it is the only platform of its kind currently managed by public management (City Hall of São Paulo).
