OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has launched a survey to find people interested in using a paid version of the chatbot that writes texts, poems, articles and even code. The announcement was made on the company’s official Discord server.

The idea is to start monetizing AI to ensure its economic viability. ChatGPT Professional, as it is called by OpenAI, would offer subscribers immediate availability, faster responses, and would even give users “at least” double the daily responses compared to the free version, which would not be abandoned.

Interested parties can enter their name in a form available via Google Docs. The user can also suggest payment methods and what price they would be willing to pay for the service: OpenAI has not yet defined how much ChatGPT Professional will cost, if it is released. Those selected from the modules will be called into a conversation of approximately 15 minutes with the developers for feedback and suggestions.

Microsoft is interested in ChatGPT

One tech giant that has already shown a lot of interest in ChatGPT is Microsoft. The company is reportedly studying to include artificial intelligence in Bing searches and even in the Office suite.

OpenAi, which was recently valued at $29 billion, is also reportedly seeking $10 billion in funding from Microsoft to continue developing the product.
