Hurricane Alert: The number is increasing in the Atlantic, how many will there be IN TOTAL in 2022?

According to forecasts by the United States National Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Colorado State University (USC), This year the sum will be higher than normalit would therefore be the seventh consecutive season that this would happen.
These forecasts indicate that they will introduce andbetween 14 and 20 named storms in this part of the world (including Alex, Bonnie and Colin); between 6 and 10 will be hurricanes (winds of 119 kilometers per hour or more), while 3 to 5 could be major hurricanes (winds of 178 kilometers per hour or more).
“About 90% of all hurricanes and 95% of major hurricanes in the Atlantic occur on average after August 1,” explained a researcher from Colorado State University.
What measures to take in the event of a hurricane?
It should be noted that there is a 68% chance that one of the major hurricanes in the Pacific Ocean will make landfall on the US coasta figure well above the 52% that was the average of the last century, so it is essential to keep in mind some preventive measures:
- Avoid maritime navigation on risky coasts
