He pointed out that 81.3% of international visitors entered the country by air and the remaining 18.7% by land.

As for Mexicans who traveled abroad, they added a total of 4 million 121 thousand 287 people, an increase of 26.7% compared to the sixth month of 2022.

According to INEGI, total spending by Mexican travelers left a spill of $724.7 million in the countries they traveled to. And their median spend was $175.84, up 6.6% from the previous year when it was $164.99.

Although it should be mentioned that consumption by Mexicans abroad has shown a recovery since returning to the similar level of 2021 when the average expenditure was $178.20.
