CFE employees and retirees will benefit from a higher income

Permanent and temporary workers of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE)rThey will receive a 4% increase in their tabulated daily salary, effective May 1, reports the parapublic. This, within the framework of the agreements concluded between the CFE and the Single Union of Electricians of the Mexican Republic (SUTERM), after conclude conciliation talks as part of the 2023 salary review of the collective agreement (CCT) in force, which will apply to unionized personnel.

The benefit for housing rent has also been increased from 48.0 to 50.2%.

Another of the agreements reached between the parties was the granting of 1.82% at the tabulated daily wage, to maintain the purchasing power of CFE staff. The benefit for housing rent has also been increased from 48.0 to 50.2% (clause 66); pantry assistance increased from 35.0 to 37.1% (clause 75) and lTransport assistance increased from 33.35 to 35.1% (section 78).

The parties have agreed a 7.82% increase in pensions that the CFE pay pensioners pursuant to Article 69, first section, section VII, of the CCT. The CFE, led by Manuel Bartlett Díaz, reported that the agreement was pronounced on Friday, May 12, before the Federal Labor Court for Collective Affairs, in Mexico City. Thus, the CFE and SUTERM are awaiting the corresponding agreement so that it can be approved by the authority.
