To begin with, it is important that you know that this new public transport has been reinvented, so those interested will be in charge of learning to drive one of the new units acquired by the authorities; and it is that a few months ago, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, head of government of Mexico City, presented the innovative vehicles that seek to reduce polluting emissions.

The units are now at the cutting edge of technology and have a security system, accessibility, connectivity and comfort. They have a capacity of 90 passengers and a range of 75 kilometers without needing to be connected to the electricity grid. Now that you are ready and know what they look like, prepare your documents if you want to be part of the Trolleybus team.

Requirements to be part of the Trolleybus team

Take note, and gather your documents to be part of the team of operators or operators of the Trolleybus. Here are the requirements:

  • Original certificate proving professional experience of at least 3 years in driving large vehicles.
  • Copy and original of the INE, passport or professional identity card with photo.
  • Original and copy of high school certificate.
  • Original and copy of birth certificate.
  • Copy of proof of residence dated less than three months.
  • Copy of RFC.
  • Original and copy of valid Type “C” license.
  • Two letters of recommendation.
  • Updated copy of CURP.
  • Copy of updated social security number.
  • Three child-size photographs in color or black or white on a white background.

If you meet any of these requirements, present your documentation to Municipio Libre 402, San Andrés Tetepilco neighborhood, Iztapalapa, Mexico City.

Remember that in December 2018, Claudia Sheinbaum gave the go-ahead to 100 new trolleybus units and by that time there were already 318 new trucks, although authorities said the the goal is to get 500 to improve mobility in the city and contribute not only to more accessible transport, to provide a dignified and low-cost service, in addition to fight against pollution.
