How to share music on Instagram Notes?

- Log in to Instagram
Log in to the app and go to the messaging area. Then, tap the “+” button in your profile photo, just above “Your Rating.”
- Choose the song
In the message sharing bubble, write some text and tap the small icon with the musical note. Then select a song to personalize the message.
- Notify followers
Finally, confirm your chosen song and message. Now the personalized note can be read and “heard” by followers.
Instagram launched so-called “Notes” in December 2022. The tool was created with the aim of making it easier for users to share their thoughts.
In July 2023 the platform launched an extension called Threads to compete with Twitter, which was renamed X in the same month.
Creation of the social network
Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger created the prototype of Instagram in 2010. At the time the social network was called Burbn and had a different function: tagging and sharing the location of places visited through photos.
Currently, the main focus of the platform is videos. After being acquired by Facebook in 2012, Instagram began to adapt to new trends imposed by competitors, such as TikTok, and changed some of its internal tools.
