Astronomical calendar: in June there are the launches of Strawberry Moon and SpaceX

June is SpaceX month, Elon Musk’s company has several launches scheduled for the next 30 days. The month still holds other surprises such as the Strawberry Moon and a conjunction. If you want to see more of what awaits you this year, we have also prepared these guides on moon phases and eclipses.

June astronomical calendar

SpaceX is launching a new fleet of second-generation Starlink satellites directly from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

June’s full moon, known as the ‘Strawberry Moon’, arrives at 00:43.

Also SpaceX, this time Elon Musk’s company launches a Dragon 2 spacecraft for a resupply mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

The Transporter 8 mission will take off with a SpaceX Falcon 9 in sun-synchronous orbit.

The waning moon of June arrives at 4:32 pm.

Moon and Saturn will be in conjunction, in the region of the western constellation of Aquarius.

Arianespace will use an Ariane 5 ECA rocket, designated VA260, to launch the Syracuse 4B and Heinrich Hertz communications satellites.

The June new moon arrives at 01:39.

A SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket will launch USSF 52 mission for the US Space Force. It will take off from Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

June’s waxing moon arrives at 4:51.
